ResponderEliminarHi teacher. Here is my essay. thank you!
Learning English, and not just English, any foreign languages is an challenge that it has to be faced by two protagonists, teacher and student. So I think that both of them have the responsibility of giving the best for the purpose of learning a foreign language.
To learn is a process in which depend on as teacher as student. A teacher beyond the knowledge the language, he has to know how to transmit and to express that foreign language. It means, One thing is to know the language, and other thing completely different is to teach that knowledge. So one of the most important thing that a teacher has to know is the best way that a student could assimilate or interiorized a language. For example, it could be that for a young guy it’s easier to learning the language through computational and media tools like videos, films, documentaries etc. On the other hand, it could happen that for an adult the best way is though grammatical exercises and lectures.
So in this point, it is fundamental that teacher try to observe very well his students, in order to explore pedagogical resources that permits improve the learning. And for instance, if the teacher perceives that making the class enjoyable and fun it’s a good way, I don’t see any reason for do not doing in that way.
However, the work is not only for the teachers. Student has to be the most interested in learning the foreign language. Because the teacher could find the best ways in the world for teaching a language, but if the student isn’t motivated and committed to the results, it will be impossible for both of them get any satisfactory improved in the skills. So before that a student starts to learning a foreign language, it would be very useful to ask himself what the motivations and expectations are that he has with this thing and the most important is if it has sense for him to make an effort for learning a new language. In the moment that the student reflect about this and find a honest and positive answer, the student is going to be committed to learning a language
So, I deeply think that the process of learning a language is a compromise between two protagonists. Teacher and student.
